From his first moves at 4 to a FIDE Rapid rating of 1526 at 6! 💙 ♟️
In April 2024, Anyav Gopalakrishnan joined Arjun’s Chess Academy as a four-year-old beginning his chess journey. In the October 2026 FIDE rating list, he achieved a Rapid rating of 1526! 👏

Behind this milestone are two and a half years of consistent effort—around two hours of learning and practice each day. Puzzles, games, workbook exercises, chess videos and playing with other students all became part of his routine. Tournament experience gave him opportunities to put that learning into practice. ♟️
